The mission of the Firefighters & EMS Foundation (FEF) is to protect and support the interest of First Responders, and to provide fire & EMS members with free medical and legal support services, a member line of duty death benefit, scholarship programs, and fund safety and related initiatives to protect these first responders.

  We will further provide and sponsor "Save a First Responder" program that will post a $10,000 reward for public information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person who commits arson or any other crime which results in the death of a firefighter or EMS personnel during their line of duty.

FEF is IRS designated 501 (c )(3) non-profit foundation

The annual Hazleton Fire Dept.  "Remembrance of the Victims of  9/11 " was held at its monument in  front of Holy Rosary Church on the evrning of 9/11/15
The people of Hazleton come to show their respects to the victims of 9/11. They are joined by the local American Legion, VFW post, Pa State Police, local school children, and all surrounding fire departments.
It is another great tribute to the Victims of 9/11/01,

Camp Wonderful           June 23- 27, 2014

Camp Wonder is a one week camp for children with chronic and life-threatening skin diseases from around the country to take a break from being a patient and focus on just being a kid. The camp is run by the Children’s Skin disease Foundation ( The FEF will provide a donation to the Children’s Skin disease Foundation in order to co-sponsor the nightly events for the kids.  Check out this year's pictures here.

The Woman’s World Magazine wrote this Help A Hero article about the FEF asking its readers to donate Wal-Mart gift cards to the FEF.  These gift cards will be given to our friends at various fire stations to use for needed supplies.
